Klothes
for Kids to help 1,300 children with school uniforms and
supplies
When
children should be eager to learn and excited about what the new year
will bring, hundreds of kids in the Bay District Schools simply cannot
afford the school uniforms and supplies required to learn.
So we are launching our 5th annual Klothes for Kids
program, designed to provide free uniforms, shoes, and supplies to
area needy and homeless children.
|
|
Last
year we helped over 1,000 kids. This year, even more children will
need our help…with a weakened economy and high unemployment rate;
parents are in desperate need of our assistance.
The
simple fact is we urgently need your help.
Your sponsorship at any level will help us purchase the needed
school uniforms, shoes, and supplies for these children.
Remember,
no gift is too small.
When
you give to Klothes for Kids, you can know you are making an impact on
children who are at risk of low grades and self esteem, falling into
dangerous drug use, dropping out of school, or worse.

Tony is
Loved and Rescued

I thank God for all of my trials and
tribulations.
Growing up in a mentally, physically, and
sexually abusive environment wasn't my idea of a loving
home. I was admitted to the hospital 4 times for
injuries of sexual abuse. Nothing was done, I ran away every
chance I got, but I was always brought back home. After I
took a baseball bat to my abusive mom and step-dad, I was finally
put into a foster home. I became a ward of the state because
I was a "Danger To Society".
