For Bay County’s most unfortunate boys and girls “back-to-school” is a very difficult time of the year. When children should be eager to learn and excited about what the new year will bring, hundreds of kids in the Bay District Schools simply cannot afford the school uniforms and supplies required to learn. So, that’s why we provide annually the Klothes for Kids program. It is designed to provide free uniforms, shoes, and supplies to area needy and homeless children. With the help of a generous community and 435 volunteers over three days of distribution Gods people are able to help nearly 1,000 kids (over 400 families), providing over $63,000 in valued clothes. Thank you for supporting this great cause! All leftover uniforms are sent to area schools, so if you missed the cutoff date and need assistance, please contact your school’s counselors.
