Bethel Village administrative assistant, Pam Nevins, organized a fun fall coloring contest for our Bethel Village ladies.  It was a challenge to “get in touch with one’s inner child”  and compete for prizes!   Not everyone participated, but those who did enjoyed the creative exercise.  Several students saved extra coloring sheets to share with their children as a fun time at the next visitation.           Contest winners were: Cheryl – Grand prize Jennifer read more…

Cathy Byrd shows off some of the beautiful children’s quilts donated to Bethel Village this week by the St. Andrew Bay Quilters Guild.  The Guild’s Comfort Quilts Chair, Mary Oliver, delivered quilts to Bethel Village for mothers to give to their young children who come to visit them while in the recovery program.  Young children need the reassurance and comfort that Mommy being “in school” is a good thing and that they are welcome to read more…

2012 Festival of Trees Still Has Space for Design Submissions!  Design and Donate a Tree, Wreath, or Centerpiece!  The Deadline For Applications Is October 24th.     Help us set the stage for the Christmas holidays by designing a Christmas tree, wreath, centerpiece, or gingerbread house to donate to the 2012 Festival of Trees for auction. Jennifer came to Bethel Village in April 2009, broken, defeated, grieving, and pregnant with her fourth child by her husband who had died just weeks before. Sean was recognized by his peers today in promotion service.
