Bay Helping Bay raises $6,575 for Panama City Rescue Mission

PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL (November 24, 2015) — Sharky’s Beachfront Restaurant presented a check today for $6,575 that was raised during the 2nd Bay Helping Bay charity event held to honor the Panama CityRescue Mission. The mission of the Panama City Rescue Mission is to provide a “continuum of care” for homeless and needy individuals while providing ongoing living in a recovery-oriented environment through transitional housing.

 

Sharky’s donated 100% of the event proceeds to the (organization), which included a silent auction, dinner and a presentation from the (organization). The crowd gathered and enjoyed a great event and a beautiful sunset while supporting a worthy community cause.  Sharky’s would like to thank all involved including the PC Rescue Mission organizers and local media sponsors Powell BroadcastingWMBBThe News Herald and PremiumOutdoor.

The 3rd Bay Helping Bay event will be held Wednesday, December 9th at Sharky’s and will benefit a Sharky’s employee that has undergone several surgeries and has significant medical bills. Bay Helping Bay is a new event series built around education and support in the community of local nonprofits and foundations.
