  86 coats donated PANAMA CITY — After more than 700 children were clothed at Klothes for Kids annual back-to-school uniforms and school supplies drive, the Panama City Rescue Mission has donated coats to a similar cause. Room renamed “Jason Smith Chapel” Dr. Frank and Regina Merritt, along with their two sons, were welcomed to dedicate the rescue mission’s chapel at Bethel Village Home for Women and Children, the women and children’s shelter, in memory of Dr. Merritt’s late best friend and medical school classmate Jason Smith.
