Lynn Haven Bargain Center Manager

Kim Erck is the Retail Manager for the Lynn Haven Bargain Center, one of two Panama City Rescue Mission retail stores. Both stores provide work therapy to the addiction recovery program clients at PCRM. All proceeds benefit PCRM and Bethel Village, the Rescue Mission’s women’s and children’s campus. Kim manages the daily operations of the Lynn Haven Bargain Center. She also leads the men in their work therapy, often ministering and praying with them.

Among other tasks, Kim provides exceptional customer service, manages donation pickup and delivery and baling process, oversees 2 employees and 3 male recovery program clients, prices and stages store merchandise, lists merchandise for sales on various websites, and works with staff and volunteers to increase profit margins daily. Kim has worked at the Bargain Center since 2017.

Kim has served on United Way’s Funds Allocation Board, holding the seat of a formerly homeless person, since 2017.

Previously, Kim has worked extensively in a variety of customer service and retail-based employment. Below are some of the highlighted positions Kim has excelled at.

From 2016 to 2017, Kim worked for the Bay Point Community Association, honing her skill sets in office administration and community-based meetings. She attended Bay Point Community Association Board of Directors, Canal Association, Bay Point West, and Sub Association Condo meetings where she scheduled all meetings, created the agendas, and took and presented meeting minutes. Kim did data entry, filing, correspondence, created and maintained profitable database, tracked and followed up on security citations, and created and managed monthly fines and suspensions meetings for citations disputes, including collecting video footage and documentation for review. Citation tracking database was the most profitable in Bay Point history, thanks to Kim’s creation and due diligence.

Kim also worked at Creative Tours by Pat as an Executive Assistant/Officer Manager/Travel Sales. She booked high end travel, managed the office calendar and schedule, completed accounting close out for group travel, facilitated and managed travel presentations, and managed client communications from 2005 to 2011.

Kim also worked at Kaufmann Products as an Executive Assistant from 1983 to 1986. She provided high quality customer service, managed the office calendar and appointments, oversaw mail order operations. She also handled all customer relations issues, including problem solving, customer care and communication, payments and bank deposits processing, and serving as the Public Relations Representative at area car shows.

In her spare time, Kim enjoys spending time with her grandson, children, and dogs. She likes to take them to the McKenzie Park Movie Nights.
